Turn Over Speech last Induction of Newly Elected USSC S/Y 2011-2012 (September 02, 2011)

PETER DRUCKER, in his prescient and profound yet simple way, said: "The Leader of the past was a person who tells. The Leader of the future is a person who asks."
To our Guest Speaker for this special occasion of the students, Hon. Fortunato "Ato" C. Pena, Vice-Governor of Province of Camarines Sur, to our President of this university, Atty. Marito T. Bernales, to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eden C. Paz, to our Director of Office of Student Affairs and Services, Prof. Charlito P. Cadag, to all advisers of the different accredited student organizations, to the newly elected USSC Officers, to all teachers, faculties, accredited student organizations, guests and students of this university, Good Evening!
Nakatatak pa sa puso ko at isipan ang katagang binitiwan ni Spider Man "With great power comes great responsibility". I have learned a lot from that saying, but to tell you honestly, learnings are not just from the responsibilities that I have, but also from the experiences that have made me the super woman of this university.
I firmly believe na kahit ikinakainis ka na at isinusuka ng mga estudyanteng hindi maka-get over, nakatayo parin ako at lumalaban sa kabila ng kawalang suporta ng ibang estudyante. Hence, behind those miserable experiences, there comes the ever loyal support of my beloved officers and students who believe in my capacity like you, all Accredited Student Organizations.
Who run the world? Girls....by Pussycat Dolls, this time it's not about the gender who run for the studentry because you can be the voice of the studentry either you are a man or a woman. When there's a lot of circumstances, sometimes, you have to be soft like a woman- when you cry for strength and confident to win your dreams.
I have dreamed before like a hopeless girl, but now, I have grow enough who leap and reap good things more than the things I ever dreamed of. Service makes me whole, Leadership makes me strong, I don't ask for more, for me, it's enough to live with Legacy, Love continously and bring nothing but Memories.
Tonight, kill nothing but time, dream nothing but reality. Sa aking mga incumbent USSC officers, thank you for such a good sport, thank you for unselfishly sharing your time and effort. Without you guys, I am nothing. To my ever loyal and very supportive adviser, Mr. Sonny R. Corporal and very energetic director of office of student affairs and services, Prof. Charlito P. Cadag...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...and especially to our beloved God for always guiding me in a right path of my leadership.
To the newly elected Officers, we look forward for your undying support and action in the improvement of this university and for the betterment of the studentry.
To Marco Sicena, i know your the next Captain America, the Captain CBSUA. I am proud that you are emulating my way of service. i believe passionately that you will work more than you have ever done in the council. I know you a lot. Drive your officers in a right way, give your life as a captain of this university.
To Captain-CBSUA Marco, inihahabilin ko ang mga documento sa iyong mga kamay, those papers are very important.
Lesson No.1- Be responsible for the documents of the studentry, keep it, bear it and work for it. Sayo ko inihahabilin ang launching ng Plastic Bottles and Cans Collector. I hope you will be able todiscipline the students on how to segregate garbage. Pinaghirapan po natin yan dahil sa mahal natin ang environment ng ating unibersidad. So, don't waste to follow the rules.
To all who are thirst, nasa NSTP mini Pavilion po at nasa MPS department ang sagot, meron po doon Drinking Faucets.
Lesson No.2- Always clean the comfort room, you help yourselves clean it, it is for your own safety and comfort.
       The office is still open to everyone. You are all welcome to enter and ask for assistance. It is for you my dear students. The newly elected officers are now ready to serve you. Now, I want you to listen;
I have come nothing, now I am leaving, bringing nothing but good governance, good service and extraordinary circumstances. I am Janice P. Arino signing off.
       Thank you very much!.....

My speech 2010 in USSC (August 16, 2010)

To our Guest of Honor, to our President of this University, Atty. Marito T. Bernales, to our Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Eden C. Paz, to the Director of Student Affairs and Services, Prof. Charlito P. Cadag, to our guest speaker, Mr. Rene N. Rabacal, the former CSSC/FCSSC President, To all the members of the faculty and its staff, to our mentors – the officers of the University Supreme Student Council for S/y 2009-2010, To my co – officers in the council of this year’s term, to all of you my fellow students of this university, to others visitors, ladies and gentlemen, Good evening.
To assume the position as President of the University Supreme Student Council is not an easy task. I know that I have to employ another system of time management to ensure that the trust that you have given me will be worthy.
Our Theme for this year’s induction ceremony is “USSC- Unified for Students' Development”. And this will be our battle cry in order to achieve our common goal. The effectiveness of leadership doesn’t just rely on the part of the officers; instead it should be a collaborative effort of the officers and its members for the students' development. It is said that the success of every plan depends on how well it is put into action. With my co – officers in the student council, we will make sure to initiate different programs, projects and activities that will be benefited us all. With this, I am appealing to you my fellow students; I know that without your support and cooperation we cannot do anything. Let’s work hand and hand so we could attain our desire objective – to have a better studentry in this university.
The true leadership, is the ability to move people to change. being a good leader requires a "tremendous sense of dedication . . . you don't even consider the dimension of time. You do everything you can, without limit, to do what's best for the studentry."

So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s take this as a challenge. Let’s work together towards a better and productive studentry.

           Thank You Very Much!
And may God always bless us all.
